Bates registered 10 tackles (four solo) during the Falcons‘ 20-10 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.

Bates played every single defensive snap for a third consecutive game, and his 10 tackles were tied for most in the game with JD Bertrand and Malik Mustapha. Bates has recorded at least seven tackles in four of the first six games of the regular season, and he leads the Falcons with 39 tackles on the year.
