
Man charged with murder in double shooting outside sports bar in Pembroke Pines: Police

After a double shooting in Pembroke Pines claimed the life of one person, a suspect was arrested in Miami on Sunday, police said.
Clayton Hicks, 27, was charged with second-degree murder with a firearm.

According to Pembroke Pines Police, the shooting happened on Sunday in the parking lot of of Rickey’s Sports Bar and Grill, located at 8389 Pines Blvd.
When officers arrived at the parking lot, they found two men who were suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
They were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the men succumbed to their injuries. The other man is currently being treated.
During the investigation, police said Hicks was found in Miami, and he was taken into custody by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

The identities of the two who were shot have not been released.
An investigation into the shooting remains active.
