Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb has been a part of some great offenses during his time with the franchise, but this one under Brian Schottenheimer might be the best of the lot.
Let’s not forget, Lamb has been on offenses that have powered the Cowboys to three straight 12-5-win seasons, so he knows a thing or two about elite offenses.
And fresh off hanging 44 points on the Washington Commanders to move to 3-3-1 on the year, as the Cowboys scored 30+ points for the fourth time this season, when asked where this offense ranks among the ones he’s been on in his career, CeeDee gave Schottenheimer the ultimate compliment.
“This one the best one I’ve been on, and I’ve been on some great ones,” Lamb said. It’s just the way that we can move around these pieces and these players, and everybody know everywhere to go. We can line up faster. It’s tough.”

Cowboys offense will be reason for playoff berth
Given how potent this offense is, Dak and Co. can put up enough points that they can beat any team in football. But conversely, the performance of the defense overall through the early part of the season means they can lose to any team.
That isn’t ideal, and the gap between the defense’s best and worst performance has to close.
It was a step in the right direction against the Commanders, and we saw the benefits of getting stops, turnovers, and yeah, the pick-six. With so many weapons, this offense will always score points; it is just a matter of how many will be enough on any given week to ensure the win.
Scoring 40 wasn’t enough to beat the Green Bay Packers, but it was enough to beat Washington.
If the Cowboys are a playoff team in 2025, it will be because of Prescott and the offense.
