HBO Max’s The Penguin won big at the Emmys 2025.This spin-off series to Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been one of the highlights of the year, and fans were hoping that it would get its due at the Emmys. As fans had hoped, the show scored big.

Here’s a list of all the Emmys that The Penguin took home this year.

The Penguin won a total of nine awards at this year’s Emmy Awards.

Created by Lauren LeFranc, The Penguin is a DC Elseworlds series that takes place a week after the events of Matt Reeves’ The Batman. The story centers around the journey of Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobb / The Peguin in Gotham’s crime world, and serves as a bridge between The Batman and its upcoming sequel.

The Penguin was one of the series that led the Emmys with an incredible 24 nominations, right behind Severance, which had 27 nominations. Out of the 24, the show won a remarkable 9 awards. While eight of those were won at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were held on September 6-7, 2025, the last one was won at the main Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, 2025.

So, here’s a list of all the Emmys, including the Creative Arts Emmys, that the show won this year:

  • Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie – Cristin Milioti
  • Outstanding Contemporary Costumes (Limited Series) – Helen Huang, Kate Smith, and team (for “A Great or Little Thing”)
  • Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling – Brian Badie, Jenn Vasilopoulos, and Mariko Miyagi (for “Cent’Anni”)
  • Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) – Martha Melendez, Kim Collea, and Maria Maio (for “Cent’Anni”)
  • Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup – Michael Marino, Crystal Jurado, and team (for “After Hours”)
  • Outstanding Music Composition (Limited Series) – Mick Giacchino (for “After Hours”)
  • Outstanding Sound Editing – Rich Bologna, Lawrence Zipf, and team (for “After Hours”)
  • Outstanding Sound Mixing – Andy Kris, Rich Bologna, Christof Gebert, and Julien Pirrie (for “After Hours”)
  • Outstanding Visual Effects in a Single Episode- Johnny Han, Michelle Rose, and team (for “Bliss”)
