  • Kardashian and West welcomed daughter Chicago in 2018 and son Psalm in 2019, via surrogate.

Kim Kardashian wears many hats, from reality star and Skims founder to actress and law student—but none of those roles come before being a mom.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum shares four children with ex-husband Kanye West: daughters North and Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm. The former couple wed in May 2014. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, and their divorce was finalized in 2022, per People. The couple agreed to joint physical and legal custody of their kids.

Kardashian explained her philosophy on co-parenting in a March 2022 Vogue cover story. “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,’ ” she explained to the outlet, adding, “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”

North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm are growing up alongside their nine Kardashian and Jenner cousins, often vacationing together or hanging out at home with their grandma, Kris Jenner. In August 2025, Kardashian took to Instagram to share photos of three of her children—Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—enjoying a Cabo vacation with two of sister Khloé Kardashian’s kids.

“Cabo forever!” she wrote in the post’s caption, alongside a photo of herself and son Saint relaxing on a private jet. Another picture from the same Instagram post showed daughter Chicago with her cousin True and their friends, posing under a sign that read, “Kim Air.”

From following in their mom’s fashionable footsteps to joking about their parents on TikTok, the Kardashian-West kids are already making their mark. Here’s everything to know about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s four children.

Kardashian and West welcomed their first child, daughter North, on June 15, 2013. The Skims founder explained in a 2020 YouTube video with sister Kylie Jenner that the origin of her firstborn’s name came from an unexpected source: late night host Jay Leno.

“I actually got [her name] from Jay Leno, who made that as a joke. I was like, ‘No way, I would never name my daughter that.’ I said that on his show. [But] everyone was coming up to me like, ‘It’s such a cool name, you should really think about it.’ “

From a young age, North wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. When she attended Paris Fashion Week with her mom in July 2022, she made headlines for holding up a sign with the word “Stop” when the duo were being photographed during the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall Winter 2022/2023 show. Kardashian explained the moment in an Instagram post after the runway.

“[A]nyone who knows North knows how funny she finds the last slide! North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her so she wrote on her invite STOP and held it up and wanted them to just focus on the show… 😂🫶🏼🫣,” she captioned the post.

Like her mom, 12-year-old North has already become something of a fashion plate. In August 2025, she again broke the Internet when she channeled goth glam in a black corset and tall black boots. She styled her bright-blue hair in low pigtails to complete the look.

When it comes to critiquing Kardashian’s ensembles, she’s been her mom’s biggest critic, serving up the honest reactions only children can—as Kardashian demonstrated at the premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians in 2022. “I left the house in sweats, so [North] hasn’t seen [my look],” Kardashian told E! News on the red carpet. “She’ll judge. She’ll probably be like, ‘Ew, what are you wearing’ or ‘what’s that?'” she joked.

Although North is just a preteen, she’s already stepped into the spotlight herself. She landed her first solo magazine cover with i-D at just 10 years old. (Asked in the feature what she wants to be when she’s older, she said, “a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS.”)

Her live musical debut came in May 2024, when she performed “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” at Disney’s The Lion King live concert. North wore her own Simba costume for the occasion, People reported. She previously had a feature on her father Ye’s album Vultures, rapping a verse in track “Talking / Once Again.”

Saint West

Kardashian and West welcomed their second child and first son, Saint West, on December 5, 2015.

At just 2 years old, Saint had to be hospitalized for pneumonia, Kardashian revealed on her Instagram in December 2017. “My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary,” the mom of four wrote in the caption of her post, going on to thank the nurses and doctors who helped her “strong Saint” get better.

Thankfully, Saint hasn’t had any health scares since, and is now a thriving 9-year-old who loves sports. In March 2022, he tagged along with his father West (aka Ye) to watch the Boston Celtics play against the Golden State Warriors. Later the same year, he and mom Kardashian went to a Los Angeles Rams game with some of his friends to celebrate his seventh birthday.

Saint, who’s also a soccer fan, had many a footballer’s dream-come-true moment when he had the chance to meet star player Lionel Messi and team co-owner David Beckham at an Inter Miami game in July 2023. Kardashian shared clips of an overjoyed Saint taking it all in to her Instagram Story, per People.

As of 2025, Saint has made a bold style choice: rocking bright-pink hair. His colorful mane could be glimpsed in his mom’s July 2025 Instagram post about the family’s summer vacation at a lake. He had the same standout style in her August 2025 Instagram post recapping a family trip to Cabo. In the series of photos and videos for that vacation, one showed Kardashian surprising her eldest son by revealing his friends were coming on the trip.

Like his big sister North, Saint has dabbled in the entertainment industry. He lent his voice to the character of Meteor Max for 2023’s PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, per his IMDB.

Chicago West

It was another girl for Kardashian and West, who welcomed third child Chicago on January 15, 2018. Chicago was born via surrogate. Her name is an homage to her father’s hometown, People reported shortly after her arrival.

Because Chicago was born close to the time Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed daughter Stormi and Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson had daughter True (all arriving in early 2018), she’s had a built-in trio of best friends. Fans of the Kardashians refer to the trio as “The Triplets.”

Big brother Saint was also quick to bond with his new younger sibling, his mom shared in a 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “He loves his little sister. He’s so sweet with her,” Kardashian said. “I always have to watch out for him,” she added, explaining that the then-2-year-old would jump into Chicago’s crib and accidentally cover her face with his hair.

In a 2021 interview with DeGeneres, Kardashian contrasted North and Chicago, describing the latter as her “girliest girl that loves pink and purple and makeup.” North, on the other hand, “is like goth—she’s into Hot Topic. She puts fake tattoos on her face, and she listens to Black Sabbath, and she’s just like a full goth girl,” the reality star explained.

Chicago turned 7 in 2025 and celebrated with a “cowgirl birthday,” per her mom’s Instagram post about the party. One yeehaw-chic decoration displayed in the series of pics: Chicago’s nickname, Chi, spelled out with rope like a lasso. For the occasion, the birthday girl wore a white cowboy hat and matching jacket, with her full name spelled out in sparkly sequins across the back.

Psalm West

Kardashian and West welcomed their fourth child, son Psalm, on May 9, 2019. Like Chicago, Psalm was born via surrogate. His name is biblical, referring to the Books of Psalms, his grandmother Kris Jenner told ET a few weeks after his arrival. “I think it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate how [Kim and Kanye] feel,” Jenner added. “And he’s such a blessing, so it’s perfect.”

The mom of four gushed about her youngest child in a 2023 Instagram post about his fourth birthday, calling him “my beautiful smart curious baby boy Psalm” in the caption. “I’m just so happy you chose me to be your mommy. You teach me so much every day. I can’t wait to go through this life with you and that cutie smile of yours with your little fangs lol,” she added. Pictures from the celebrations showed that the little one had a firefighter-themed birthday party.

In 2020, the KKW Beauty founder told E! News that she talked to a medium in Bali before Psalm’s arrival. The woman “came up to [Kardashian] and said that I was gonna have another son and that it was gonna be my father reincarnated,” she recalled, adding that no one knew her surrogate was pregnant with a boy at that time. Kim’s father, prominent lawyer Robert Kardashian, died of cancer in 2003.

Other traits—for example, Psalm being left-handed like his late grandfather—further convinced Kardashian, she shared in the same E! Interview. “I don’t even know if I believe in reincarnation, but I do now… I want to believe it!”

In September 2024, Psalm and his siblings were all smiles in a back-to-school selfie Kardashian shared to her Instagram. “[S]chool daze are upon us,” she captioned the post, which featured a rare picture of all four Kardashian-West children together.
