CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Local golfers hit the links Monday to benefit K9 Titan’s Watch Foundation, a nonprofit that supports K9 units in Cambria County.

The foundation was formed in memory of Johnstown Police Department K9 officer Titan, who died in the line of duty in November of 2020.

In its fifth year, the golf outing brings together first responders, business owners and members of the community.

This year, 104 participants teed off to help provide financial assistance for training, equipment, medical care and more.

“We had the idea of starting the golf tournament before Titan had passed. And then that tragic event happened and that kind of kicked us in the gear to get the golf tournament going.”

Our own Sean Eiler was among those who participate in the outing at Windber County Club.
