Community Bank is marking its expansion into Pennsylvania with grand openings of two new full-service branches in the Lehigh Valley and a series of special events featuring sports celebrities.

The bank will open its first new location of the year in Bethlehem at 2943 Linden St. on Tuesday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the main program beginning at 6 p.m. Pennsylvania native and PGA golfer Brandon Matthews will attend the celebration.

The following day, Community Bank will inaugurate its second new branch at 1323 Grape St. in Whitehall Township. The ribbon-cutting event will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., with Matthews again joining bank officials, community leaders, and clients for the celebration.

The bank will cap off its expansion celebration with a community event on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Whitehall branch.

In partnership with Visa, the free event will feature appearances by former professional football player Brian Dawkins and rookie quarterback Kyle McCord for meet-and-greets and autograph signings. The family-friendly celebration, running from noon to 3 p.m., will also include food trucks, games, and giveaways.
