While we know Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood, they also keep their lives incredibly private from the public eye, whether it be their two kids or themselves. However, the pair just made a rare public appearance in literal years, showing both their date night styles and what a child-free date looks like for them.
In case you missed it, on Saturday, Sept. 13, Diaz and Madden made an ultra-rare appearance at the REFORM Alliance Casino Night Event in Atlantic City, New Jersey. You can see the photos below:

In the photos, we see them posing with fellow stars, co-stars, and playing poker, all while looking so chic together in their matching all-black looks. Not only do we adore their matching moment, but it gives a rare glimpse into what date night looks like for them as parents of two young kiddos.
Plus, as we said, this is their first public outing in years! While they’ve been photographed leaving big events or on the street, the last time they legitimately posed together at an event was nearly a decade ago, when they attended the House of Harlow 1960 x REVOLVE event on June 2, 2016.
After meeting in 2014, Madden and Diaz married on Jan 5, 2015. Since then, they have welcomed two children: a daughter named Raddix, born in Dec 2019, and a son named Cardinal, born in March 2024.
In a rare interview with People, Diaz talked about how she views aging differently now that she’s a mom. “The whole concept of aging has just changed completely, even in the last 10 years,” she said. “It’s totally opened up. I’m excited. I’ve got 50 or 60 years to go—I want to live to be 110, since I’ve got a young child.”
