Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, known for his sharp kitchen skills and sharper tongue, has revealed that he underwent surgery for skin cancer.

In a social media post on Saturday, Ramsay shared that he was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, and included two photos: one showing a bandage covering an area under his ear lobe; then another revealing the stitches underneath.

The 58-year-old thanked surgeons for their “fast reactive work” removing the cancerous growth and he had this message for his fans, “Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend.”
