REDDING, Calif. — The Community Foundation of the North State has kicked off its Fall grant cycle, offering three different funds to support local nonprofits.
The Women’s Fund, the Animal Welfare Endowment Fund and the Redding Rancheria Community Fund are open for applications, targeting various causes in the region. Last year, these funds collectively distributed over $175,000 to nonprofits.
The Women’s Fund aims to assist organizations benefiting women and children in the Redding area. Meanwhile, the Animal Welfare Endowment Fund targets organizations in Shasta, Siskiyou and Tehama counties. The Redding Rancheria Community Fund supports a wide range of causes in Shasta and Trinity counties, offering general operating support.
Applications are now open and will close on different dates in September and early October. A grants workshop is scheduled for August 20 via Zoom at 2 p.m. to provide more information.
