Cybill Shepherd forgives but never forgets.

The 75-year-old opened up about her decades-old feuds with former costars Bruce Willis and Christine Baranski in a new interview published on October 14, telling People that she’s happy she was able to repair her friendship with Willis, 70, before he announced that he had aphasia in 2022.

“Yes, I’m very grateful for that,” she said. “Yeah, it was time.”

The pair had starred together on the dramedy Moonlighting, which aired from 1985 to 1989.

In a 2005 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shepherd admitted filming with Willis was hard for her.

“I remember at one point in the show, it had gotten to where we just hated each other,” she revealed. “It was a very volatile show anyway, but that’s also what made it great.”

As for Baranski, 73, she appeared with Shepherd on her eponymous sitcom Cybill. The comedy aired from 1995 to 1998 and lasted for four seasons.

“We’re good now,” the Taxi Driver actress told People, adding how she was able to reconcile with the Mamma Mia alum. “Just a talk and be real open-hearted with each other.”

Shepherd had once called Baranski “unfriendly” in her 2000 memoir, Cybill Disobedience, and recalled how the two had a hard time hitting it off.
