SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) – The Dorchester County Republican Party is hosting its 5th annual Faith, Family and Freedom dinner in Summerville on Saturday night.
Five high-profile Republicans who are running for South Carolina’s 2026 gubernatorial race will be in attendance. Formal announcements and active campaigns have come from Lowcountry Congresswoman Nancy Mace, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, Rep. Ralph Norman and state Sen. Josh Kimbrell.
Guest speakers also include Supt. Ellen Weaver and Project 2025 Director Paul Dans.
Event organizers say the dinner is an annual gathering uniting conservates for an evening of “fellowship and purpose.” The dinner’s mission is to give conservatives the space to celebrate their values of faith, family and freedom.
The Dorchester County Republican Party will also be fundraising throughout the night.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Dorchester Shrine Club.
