Taylor Swift surprised everyone by announcing her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, yesterday, but she’s been teasing that date—August 12—not to mention the orange vibes of the album itself forever. And pretty much no one noticed.

The clues? First up, this video of Taylor looking around her Miami Eras Tour stadium with her cat…and an A12 sign behind her.

Then there’s the fact that she left the Eras Tour through an ORANGE DOOR. It…could not have been more obvious!!!!

Plus, there’s the fact that she wore this outfit during the Eras Tour—which is literally the colors of The Life of a Showgirl and its lock:

And fans noticed that in the video for “Anti-Hero,” a version of Taylor wearing a TS12 coded outfit is looking at a version of Taylor wearing a The Tortured Poets Department coded outfit:

AND THERE’S THIS:

Basically, Taylor’s been hiding August 12 easter eggs this entire time. As a reminder, here are her general views on the matter, via Entertainment Weekly: “I think the best messages are cryptic ones. Easter eggs can be left on clothing or jewelry. This is one of my favorite ways to do this because you wear something that foreshadows something else, and people don’t usually find out this one immediately, but they know you’re probably sending a message. They’ll figure it out in time. Lots of examples of this exist through the history of my career.”

Her mind!
