CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Most Montgomery County schools are on fall break this week, but there is still some sports action in postseason volleyball. The schedule includes a region tournament, a potential sectional matchup, and some state tournament games.
On Tuesday night, the region 7-4A tournament will play out at Clarksville High School.
Clarksville High will face the Northwest Vikings, and Kirkwood High will face Dickson County in a set of semifinal win-or-go-home matchups.
The winners of those contests will play for the region title and decide who hosts and who travels for sectional matchups come Thursday, with the right to go to the state tournament on the line.
Clarksville Christian: TSIAA state tournament
Meanwhile, on Martin Luther King Boulevard, Clarksville Christian has qualified for the TSIAA state tournament and will host the first round on Thursday in a win-or-go-home matchup.
The Centurions fell in their district title game on Saturday but still have a chance at a state title.
