U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins hosted the third day of the Great American Farmers Market yesterday on the National Mall with an evening of gratitude, service, and spiritual heritage in American agriculture.
Yesterday was themed “Faith and Fellowship Tuesday” and the day’s programming celebrated the role of faith, gratitude, and service in agricultural communities. Secretary Rollins was joined by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins, and USDA Senior Advisor on Faith and Community Outreach Dr. Alveda King. The program also featured remarks by Pastor Jentezen Franklin, Director of the White House Faith Office Jenny Korn, Rabbi Levi Shemtov, Fr. Charles Trullols, and musical guests Free Chapel Band, and headlining artist Danny Gokey.
