ITV Studios is launching a new, as yet unnamed label. Focusing on entertainment and formats, it will be led by managing director Lily Wilson and creative director Tom Williams.
Wilson moves over from ITV, where she has been the commissioning editor for entertainment for the past six years, overseeing shows including “Britain’s Got Talent” and “The Voice.” Williams comes from TalkbackThames, where he developed shows such as “Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream” and “The Million Pound Drop.”
The label, which is set to launch in the new year, will become the new home for ITV Studios’ Potato team, encompassing Potato and 12 Yard’s portfolio of quiz shows and catalogue.

“Lily has been synonymous with the biggest shows on television and intimately understands what it takes to create excellence,” said Tim Carter, managing director for ITV Studios’ U.K. unscripted. “Tom is one of the most exciting originators in the industry. Together they are unstoppable, and with the heft and popularity of Potato’s shows and 12 Yard’s IP behind them, they promise to create a new force in entertainment.”
Blue Ant Media has appointed Dervla Kelly to the position of chief marketing and communications officer and Surani Adamesco as chief technology officer. The moves come following completion of Blue Ant’s reverse takeover transaction and Toronto Stock Exchange listing.
