There’s a chill in the air and an orange tint to the leaves. Yes, fall is upon us—and with it, the celebrities are making their annual transition from floaty boho dresses and bikinis to tailored wool blazers and cozy knits. One of the biggest trends this fall is the return of office siren chic—a kind of sexy NSFW take on traditional workwear. Think Gisele Bündchen in The Devil Wears Prada. Kendall Jenner is the latest celeb to give her take on the trend.
Attending the Hennessy x Renell Medrano’s Ice Magazine Vol. 2 Launch in New York City on September 13, the model donned a form-fitting gray wool dress with a subtle checked pattern. The dress featured wide shoulder straps and a v-neck. It hugged her hips and came to her knees. The back of the skirt featured an unusual belted detail.
Jenner committed to the office siren look with a low slicked back bun and a pair of oval black-rimmed glasses. She completed the look with a pair of silver earrings, a black envelope clutch, and a pair of black pointed toe pumps.
Jenner is only the latest celeb to make the transition to office siren this month. Just last week, Scarlett Johansson ditched her streak of romantic red carpet gowns in favor of three different blazer looks at TIFF. Meanwhile, Katie Holmes was spotted filming in New York wearing a pair of office-ready black pleated wide-leg slacks. Jenner’s half-sister Kim Kardashian also adopted the trend in a baby blue silk office top. Then there was Julianne Hough, who paired a sheer bodysuit with an oversized blazer.
