Sabrina Carpenter’s ’90s Bob Mackie gown, Addison Rae’s Spring/Summer 1995 Vivienne Westwood, Hailey Bieber’s Fall/Winter 1998 Mugler… if you’ve seen a piece of fashion history on your favorite celebrity, it’s likely been sourced by Tab Vintage.

Founded in 2019 by Alexis Novak, the Los Angeles-based archival studio has since grown into one of the largest, most highly-curated selections of one-of-a-kind vintage luxury pieces, dedicated to the garment restoration process and preservation of design history. And, carrying coveted collections from the likes of Christian Dior by John Galliano, Céline by Phoebe Philo, and Gucci by Tom Ford, has made it the ultimate go-to spot for celebrity stylists like Jamie Mizrahi.

Dressing Mia Goth for the 2025 Venice Film Festival, where the actress promoted her forthcoming film Frankenstein, Mizrahi looked to Tab Vintage for two of three red carpet looks.

For the more casual photo call, Goth wore a chocolate-brown Versace Couture minidress, fitted with a V-neck and sleeveless silhouette that flares slightly in the skirt. Interestingly, the piece featured a much lower neckline when it made its way down the Spring/Summer 1991 runway, making people wonder if Mizrahi styled it backwards for the 2025 occasion.

Slipping into something a bit more formal (and contemporary) while keeping the mocha color palette alive, Goth attended the premiere in a striking Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson, who has been quietly working on his womenswear debut for the French house. The low, open back left space for a dramatic bow train, which swept the red carpet as she walked and left us dreaming of what’s to come from the designer. She paired the look with matching open-toed heels and her long brunette locks in subtle waves, along with a striking diamond-and-emerald necklace from Tiffany & Co..

For another photo call, Goth swapped the browns for whites and matched costar Jacob Elordi in a vintage Mugler mini, courtesy of Tab. Spaghetti straps and a layered, double-tiered hem, it was a classic ’90s couture piece from the label—and the perfect little white dress for an end-of-summer event.

Frankenstein, a gothic sci-fi horror written and directed by Guillermo Del Toro, and based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 classic, premiered to a standing ovation in Venice and will make its way to select theaters in October before landing on Netflix November 7.
