EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Hope Gallery celebrated their grand reopening today.
The Hope Gallery is a nonprofit organization empowering young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities through employment opportunities and vocational training.
The Hope Gallery boutique exclusively sells items created by artists with special needs.
They previously had a location in Newburgh, but needed more space to continue to grow, moving them to Evansville.
“We need to have our team members in a place where they’re safe and where they’re able to show what their true value is. And so this is where we can create more items that we just couldn’t do before so this is exciting,” founder Jennifer Park says.
The grand reopening was celebrated with treats, prizes, activities, and a 50% discount on mosaic artwork, all created by team members at the store.
