As leaders of nonprofits face uncertainty and challenges regarding funding, policies and resources, the Franciscan Spirituality Center, 920 Market. St., is opening its door for another “Community Conversation, Connection and TACOS!” event.
Anyone who works at a nonprofit organization is invited to this informal gathering from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, to enjoy a free taco lunch and connect with others who are navigating challenging times.
“We see you, and we are grateful for you,” said Jean Pagliaro, director of the FSC. “Step away from your busy day into our welcoming and peaceful space.”
There is no set agenda, but there will be a brief time of meditation for self-care.
Guests can process, idea-share, suggest partnerships or simply chat.
This is the second time the FSC has offered this event. It was well-attended and received the first time, Pagliaro said, and it seemed like a good time to try it again. Past participants are welcome to attend.
