CORVALLIS, OR (August 20, 2025) – Oregon State Athletics and Blueprint Sports have agreed to a multi-year partnership that establishes Blueprint Sports as the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) marketing agency for Oregon State Athletics. Blueprint Sports will oversee revenue generation, fan engagement, and partnership development efforts in the new era of NIL for all Oregon State student-athletes.
As a part of the new partnership with Oregon State Athletics, Blueprint Sports has acquired and will assume operation of Dam Nation Collective, which has acted as the athletic department’s official NIL collective since 2022. Dam Nation will be managed by a team of full-time, on-site Blueprint Sports executives who oversee all fan engagement, corporate partnerships, and special events for student-athletes. Those who have supported Dam Nation via membership can continue to do so and will be contacted with more information on the soon-to-be-unveiled new member benefits.
This partnership strengthens the existing NIL and Revenue Share infrastructure supporting Oregon State student-athletes, fans, and alumni—building on initiatives like OSUnited, a comprehensive and modernized program that addresses the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics through philanthropy, sponsor partnerships, and ongoing opportunities, events, and product offerings from the athletic department.
“Partnering with Blueprint Sports further enhances the OSUnited program and reinforces our commitment to provide our student-athletes and supporters the best service and resources,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics, Scott Barnes. “Blueprint Sports will only increase the impact of Dam Nation as we continue to grow and support NIL opportunities for our student-athletes. For our fans, this partnership will bring new opportunities, events and benefits that we anticipate being a leap forward in their overall experience.
“Oregon State has shown a bold commitment to its current and future student-athletes, and we’re proud to be selected as their NIL partner during this transformative period in college sports,” said Rob Sine, CEO of Blueprint Sports. “By integrating our proven model directly into Oregon State Athletics, we’ll be innovating and supporting a sustainable, scalable NIL operation that empowers student-athletes, provides value to sponsors, and unites the Beaver community in new and meaningful ways.”
Kyle Bjornstad, a former Beaver student-athlete and department administrator who founded Dam Nation in 2022, will now serve as Oregon State Athletics’ General Manager, and will consult with athletic department administrators, coaches, and staff regarding all things revenue share.
“I couldn’t be more honored, and thankful, to be offered the opportunity to serve as OSU Athletics’ General Manager,” said Bjornstad. “Additionally, I couldn’t be more proud of the meaningful opportunities that Dam Nation provided to both Beaver student-athletes and supporters over the past three years. To be able to hand the Dam Nation keys over to the national leader in this space is exciting, and I have no doubt that Blueprint Sports will continue to do right by our student-athletes and supporters, while taking Dam Nation to the next level.”
In addition to Bjornstad’s role, Justin Johnson assumes the position of NIL Business Manager, a full-time NIL-dedicated post that provides additional support to student-athletes and sponsors via Beaver Sports Properties.
“Kyle stepped up and did a tremendous job during his time running Dam Nation. As he hands that off to Blueprint Sports, we are thrilled to be able to retain him as our General Manager,” said Barnes. “The addition of the Blueprint Sports staff, as well as Kyle and Justin, bolsters the OSUnited program, and we look forward to the new opportunities that will be available to our student-athletes and Beaver Nation.”
