Peacemaker has returned for Season 2, but one particular side character has left viewers digging deep into the DC lore. The alien in the Quantum Unfolding Chamber has appeared in the first two episodes of Season 2 with no introduction. This cameo has left the viewers speculating about the creature’s origin.

Here’s who the alien could be from Peacemaker Season 2.

In Season 2, viewers learn that the Quantum Unfolding Chamber, a pocket universe, holds doors to other dimensions. We’ve seen two doors open so far—one that leads to the alternate dimension of Earth and the other that leads to the mysterious alien’s reality.

Viewers are first introduced to the alien creature at the beginning of the first episode, The Ties That Grind. Chris Smith, aka Peacemaker, takes Eagly to the Quantum Unfolding Chamber to let him fly for a while. He sees the alien walk through the door, dispose of a rat-like creature, and walk back into its dimension. Chris greets it by saying, “Hey, mornin’,” but doesn’t get a response.

In the second episode, A Man Is Only as Good as His Bird, the alien is seen again. When the alien opens its door, Chris yells at it in frustration, making the alien close the door immediately.

Viewers don’t get any introduction to the creature in either of these instances. So, who’s the creature?

The show’s credits and IMDB list the alien as ‘Kyphotic Alien,’ played by stuntman Dorian Kingi. Currently, there is no information about the alien or its origin in the DC lore.

Fans suggest that James Gunn, the show’s creator, could have created this creature. They believe he may be using it to show that the pocket universe connects to other undiscovered dimensions. However, fans familiar with Gunn’s process believe that the alien creature might return to play a role in Peacemaker’s journey later in the season.
