Roger Federer will return to the tennis court for a celebrity doubles event at the Shanghai Masters in October.
“I am really happy to be returning to Qizhong Stadium in Shanghai for the Rolex Shanghai Masters,” the 20-times Grand Slam winner said earlier this week.
“Shanghai has always been a special place for me, with great fans, unforgettable memories, and a real love for the game.
“I look forward to seeing you there.”
Federer, who retired three years ago, will play in the 10 October “Roger and Friends” event during the 30 September-13 October Shanghai Masters, which he won twice over his career.
Joining him will be actors Wu Lei and Donnie Yen as well as two-time Grand Slam doubles champion Zheng Jie.
The two-time Olympic medallist was recently seen at Wimbledon where he won a record eight championships.
