Tig Notaro and Michelle Khare are among the speakers set for a Tribeca X event in Los Angeles that will examine the influence of storytelling and the intersection of brands and entertainment.
The sessions are also designed to examine the role that female leadership in storytelling plays in the shaping of pop culture and public perceptions. In addition to Notaro and Khare, panelists set to participate include Lina Polimeni, Chief Corporate Brand Officer at Eli Lilly; Claudine Cheever, VP of Global Brand and Marketing at Amazon; and Daniel Cherry III, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Dickies.
The luncheon event is set for Sept. 12. It’s being hosted as part of Tribeca Enterprises’ Tribeca X initiative, which focuses on branded content and innovative storytelling ventures.

Cynthia Littleton, Variety co-Editor in Chief, will moderate a session looking at how health concerns insect with storytelling, featuring Notaro, Polimeni and Bryce Norbitz, who is VP of Tribeca Studios and Artist Development at Tribeca Enterprises. Littleton will also conduct a one-on-one with Khare, the popular creator who hosts the YouTube series “Challenge Accepted.”
Amazon’s Cheever and Dickies’ Cherry will be part of a panel on the future of marketing, moderated by Shelley Zalis, CEO of Female Quotient.
