Tiger Woods, who won the FedEx Cup in 2007 and 2009 and knows the weight of East Lake’s final walk better than most, led the tributes with a heartfelt message on X.

“Your journey is a reminder that hard work, resilience, and heart do pay off. No one deserves it more. Congrats @TommyFleetwood1!” Woods typed right after Fleetwood’s win.

Justin Rose, who had narrowly beaten Fleetwood at the FedEx St. Jude Championship just two weeks earlier, was greenside to witness his fellow Englishman finally get the job done.

He captured the moment like a true best friend in his iPhone and later expressed his emotions on X.

“This felt as good as winning myself!” Rose tweeted on Sunday. “So happy for my man @TommyFleetwood1 for enduring the relentless pressure cooker his quality golf has put him in during these playoffs, and there is no more deserving champ.”

The love didn’t stop there. King LeBron James posted mid-round, “What a start so far by Fleetwood! Feels like today is the day.” And after the win was sealed, he added, “Congrats and 🫡(Salute) @TommyFleetwood1!!! That first one feeling is something else! Especially after dealing with adversity and shortcomings. Too…”

If that wasn’t enough, WNBA star Caitlin Clark also joined the celebration, writing, “This has to be Fleetwood’s day.” After the win, Clark posted again, “Awesome, Spots rock”

European Team captain, Luke Donald, added his voice to the chorus, posting on X, “Tommy Fleetwood – FedEx Cup Champion 🏆”

Lydia Ko posted on Instagram, ” Things I love to see!! Congratulations @officialtommyfleetwood”

Nelly Korda also expressed her emotions through Instagram, reposting the newest Tour Championship winner’s moment at East Lake with a bunch of heartfelt emojis.

Michelle Wie West, though retired from professional golf, remains one of the sport’s most passionate voices, and Tommy Fleetwood’s breakthrough win clearly struck a chord.

After his emotional victory, Wie West took to social media and simply typed a string of “Wow’s,” capturing the joyous moment in her own signature style.

Fleetwood’s victory earned him $10 million and a five-year PGA Tour exemption. It also pushed his season earnings past $18 million. As he prepares for the intense New York crowds and Ryder Cup pressure next, Fleetwood does so with the tag “PGA Tour winner.”
