On Friday, the president suggested that the crime crackdown was requested by “the people in Chicago,” who he insisted “are screaming for us to come.”

Trump then claimed these citizens of Chicago who are clamoring for military intervention in their city “are wearing red hats, just like this one. But they are wearing red hats. African American ladies, beautiful ladies are saying, ‘Please, President Trump, come to Chicago, please.’”

Trump: After we do this, we will go to another location and make it safe too. Chicago is a mess. That will probably be our next one after this. They are screaming for us to come. Exactly who these beautiful, MAGA-supporting African American ladies from Chicago are is unclear — if they exist at all.

It’s not like Trump is popular in Cook County, Illinois, where he only got 28.4% of the vote in 2024.

Oh, and he previously lied about the crime rate in Washington, D.C., when he deployed the National Guard there a few weeks ago.

As a result, there were a lot of social media skeptics.

Meanwhile, over 90% of Black Women voted against Trump…because we’re always saving this country.

Trump’s Chicago rescue fantasy: Where federal overreach cosplays as chivalry. Those “beautiful ladies” he claims to hear? They’re actually mayors screaming for him to stop defunding their violence prevention programs.

Chicago cut homicides 30% & shootings 40% since 2024 through…

“African American ladies, beautiful ladies are saying “Please President Trump, come to Chicago, please.”

Like that ever happened? African American ladies don’t want to be stopped and “shaken down” by the National guard just for walking down the streets in their neighborhood.

Fuck him. He’s not a king. No Kings in America. And we don’t put our military on our streets. Not in this country. Oh, and…he’s lying – “African American ladies are saying please President Trump, come to Chicago.” Bullshit. He lies as he breathes. https://t.co/cxcN4s5ydz

Beautiful African American ladies of Chicago please let us know if you are asking for this help? Do you really want armed guards wandering your streets arresting mostly POC?

Trump’s cartoon version of Chicago says it all, imaginary beautiful ladies begging him to send in troops. Real leadership would mean working with communities and local leaders, not fantasizing about being a savior while using the military as a campaign prop. Trump is a disgusting…

Pandering to Black women now that he has repeatedly disparaged them for years. He’s such trash. He’s a parody of trash.
