Williamsport, Pa. — The Williamsport Symphony Orchestra (WSO), led by Maestro Gerardo Edelstein, is thrilled to share its roster of upcoming performances: five unforgettable concerts filled with world-class music, renowned guest artists, and vibrant community collaborations.
Season subscriptions are open to give music lovers the opportunity to secure their preferred seats and enjoy the best pricing for the full season. Single tickets go on sale Sept. 16, 2025 via the Journey Bank CAC website.
This season, audiences will experience a dynamic blend of classical masterworks, holiday favorites, multimedia performances, and contemporary orchestral gems:
Oct. 24: Carmina Burana & Galanta Dances – The WSO joins the State College Choral Society for Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana and Kodály’s spirited Galanta Dances, featuring acclaimed soloists Michael Hanley (baritone) and Nic Stark (tenor).
Dec. 12: Jingle All the Way – A festive holiday celebration with Howard Blake’s The Snowman, Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, a lively Hanukkah Medley, and an audience Holiday Sing-Along.
Feb. 10: From New York to Bohemia – Explore Gershwin’s genre-blending Concerto in F, Dvořák’s radiant Symphony No. 6, and Zwilich’s energetic Upbeat!
March 17: Video Games in Concert – Experience beloved video game music live, from Halo to Final Fantasy, in an immersive multimedia event.
May 19: Orchestral Wonders – Journey through three centuries of music with Purcell’s Rondeau, Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, and Brahms’ monumental Symphony No. 1.
