The immediate future for both young outfielders is tied into that of the two Yankees outfielders headed for free agency, Cody Bellinger and Trent Grisham. Bellinger is set to opt out of the final year and $25 million left on his contract, while Grisham, coming off the best year of his career, might have made himself a candidate to receive the qualifying offer, which is expected to be around $22 million.
