To wear color or not to wear color? That is the query. This week, the stars selected one side. On the one hand, tonal makeup was pigmented with pinks, reds and greens. On the other hand, we were met with the monotonous no-makeup look we were used to, classified in gold and brown categories. Either or, this week’s more natural-looking hairstyles can easily be combined with each.
Fantasia returned to the Sixties with the influential glamor of the ages a centesimal Gala, giving the night metallic gold tones, paired with a black sequined hat. Meanwhile, Taraji P. Henson was present with the Herco star. She wore chic green eyeshadow paired with a brown bob and a custom Thom Browne ensemble. Turning up the heat, Lori Harvey painted her vibrant red lips with cherry pink, while JT promoted her recent (and viral) single in a fairly pink trio complete with eyes, lips and cheeks.
For the experimental photoshoot, supermodel Anok Yai sported a choppy bowl-cut that stood by itself against the locks of the week. For example, Iman Hammam sipped a green juice along with her moisturized strands blowing in the wind, while Tina Kunakey pulled her hair back to strike a drained pose midway through her skincare routine.
SZA then grabbed the door with detailed French suggestions, showing off the luscious waves of her locks. And speaking of star-studded hair and nail combos, Queen Bey’s “beyoncé blonde” still reigned supreme as she held on to the platform with stiletto claws.
