Black-owned tattoo shop makes giving back a priority

This tattoo parlor in Rochester, New York does greater than just design. Ax Of Kindness donates at the least 10% of its gross income to nonprofit organizations dedicated to uplifting the community.

The store’s owner, Adrien Moses Clark, began the corporate due to his skills and willingness to assist. He currently helps support over eight charities in Rochester. On the Ax of Kindness website, he explains this purpose combined with passion intimately.

The space is meant for individuals who love tattoo designs and support good causes. Officially over a yr in business, Clark continues to construct a clientele that shares his values. Supporting this community through social media and word of mouth has been crucial to its expansion. He has since added two other tattoo artists to his lineup, renovating the shop because it grows.

Organizations which have benefited from his mission, including the Bivona Child Advocacy Center, said the community is “lucky” to have someone like Clark with such a creative mindset.

“He’s amazing,” said Bridget Martin, the middle’s development director. “Adrien is an amazing supporter because he truly understands our mission. Not only does he provide financial support, but his voice also informs others about our work… This community is lucky to have him.”

Some may query the sustainability of the corporate resulting from the ingrained practice of donating to charity. However, Clark resides proof that the corporate’s charitable activities can still result in success.
