Jeezy and his soon-to-be ex-wife Jeannie Mai’s divorce proceedings have gotten more and more complicated, with recent allegations continuing to surface.

In Mai’s latest release, she accused the “Seen It All” rapper of physical abuse. Her legal team produced documents containing photos allegedly depicting incidents of harassment and text messages wherein Jeezy appears to confess responsibility for the harm he allegedly caused her.

Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, vehemently denies these claims and has provided his own evidence, including photos and text exchanges, to refute Maja’s claims.

On Thursday, April 25, Mai filed recent court documents accusing her estranged husband of choking her and pushing her down the steps of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, California on April 14, 2022. Jeezy reportedly called his wife a “f-gb -h” and repeatedly told her, “I can do much better than you.”

Mai claims that a hotel security guard stationed in the lobby witnessed the incident and intervened, remaining by Mai’s side after she repeatedly expressed that she felt unsafe. There were many other incidents of verbal and physical abuse documented in the application.

The lawsuit also included photos of injuries that Maja claimed she suffered at the hands of her husband.

The trap music pioneer disputes the talk show host’s claims, saying the incident did not occur as described. He further claims that the injuries shown in the photos stem from a separate incident that occurred several months later when the couple were on a golf course together and were involved in a golf cart accident.

He produced text messages as evidence for the court in which she sent him photos of her bruised and injured legs and he expressed concern. The transmitted text messages contain date and time stamps, indicating that they were exchanged on June 22, 2022 and June 23, 2022.

There were pictures reposted on Instagram by The Jasmine Brand.

The “Don’t Cheat” rapper and Mai share 2-year-old daughter Monaco.

In one message from June 22, Mai shares a photo of herself and their daughter, followed by four photos of her leg injuries. These appear to be the same photos she presented to the court as evidence, Exhibit N4. These photos are part of an email chain but do not have a date attached.

In the next part of the text on June 23, 2022, she writes: “Babbbby… I actually have a whole lot of dresses to wear this week.”

Jeezy replies, “I’m so sorry, honey. I haven’t forgiven myself for putting you in danger. It wasn’t easy for me and I felt sad.

“It wasn’t intentional,” she texts him. “It was an accident. But we have to be more careful, especially when we drink, honey. I don’t think you know your strength when you drink.

The two then send audio messages to each other, but the content of these two exchanges has not been shared.

After the court received testimony from both sides, Jeezy made a statement to his followers on his Instagram profile.

“The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” he wrote. “This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is absurd. It’s disheartening to witness manipulation and deception. My primary concern at this time is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-ordered joint custody.”

He added: “Rest assured that the truth will prevail through proper legal channels.”

The caption for the post was easy: “You know me. #Honesty.”
