For those not familiar with baseball history, Jesus Alou may not be a household name. Born in the Dominican Republic, Jesus Maria Rojas Alou, better known as Jesus Alou, had a successful career in Major League Baseball (MLB) that spanned nearly two decades.

Jesus Alou is one of the Alou brothers, a trio of siblings who all played in the MLB. He made his debut in 1963 and played until 1979, primarily as an outfielder. Jesus, along with his brothers Felipe and Matty, created a unique piece of baseball history.
