Nonprofit agencies in the Fort Wayne metro area have an opportunity to share their 2025 wish lists for publication in The Journal Gazette, reaching thousands of potential donors.
Established 501(c)(3) nonprofits that seek donations to directly assist people in need are eligible to submit wish lists of specific items. Submissions this year must follow the exact format outlined, including the sequence of information.
• Name of organization
• Mission of the organization
• Wish list. This can include items such as blankets, diapers, books and puzzles, canned food goods and other nonperishables. New this year: Please note that the wish list must be provided in a single paragraph – without bullets – and should be limited to 15 or fewer most-needed items. Only brand names should be capitalized versus references to general items such as toothpaste or crayons.
• Address of the organization (or mailing address with zip code)
• Phone number:
• Days and times when items can be dropped off:
All information must be submitted in the body of the email; information in documents, PDFs, other attachments will not be accepted, nor will links to information.
Nonprofits in northeast Indiana and the Ohio counties of Defiance, Van Wert, Paulding and Williams can be submitted.
The information should be sent by email to [email protected] with the subject line “JG 2025 Wish List.”
The deadline for submissions is 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
Accepted submissions will be published over the Thanksgiving holiday.
