Good morning, baseball fans!
We’ve got one game this weekend, and that is Game 2 of the 2025 World Series between the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays Saturday night from the Rogers Centre.
Taking the mound for the Dodgers will be right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who finished the regular season with a 2.49 ERA, 2.94 FIP, with 201 strikeouts to 59 walks in 173.2 innings pitched. His last postseason start was in the Dodgers’ 5-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 2 of the NLCS on October 14th, in which he allowed one run on three hits with seven strikeouts and a walk in a full nine innings.
As of the time this is being written, the Blue Jays have not yet announced a starting pitcher for Saturday’s game.
Game 2 will start at 5:00 p.m. PT on Saturday afternoon and it will air nationally on Fox, with a national radio broadcast available on ESPN Radio.
Let’s go, Blue Jays!
