SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) – Something new is coming to southern Oklahoma. The Texoma Community Foundation provided funding to the “Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits” to allow for an office to be opened in Durant.

Plans are in place to open the center’s third location in Oklahoma. The site will serve Bryan and Marshall counties with a full-time nonprofit consultant on-site and offer connections to the center’s statewide resources to help nonprofits in Texoma

“Everybody who has a nonprofit or is a part of a nonprofit in our community will have access to that position and be able to use them,” said Michelle Lemming, CEO of Texoma Community Foundation.

The center is hiring for a regional program director.
