The Athens State University Foundation is hosting the 2025 Fiddlers Convention with a lineup starting October 1.

ATHENS, Ala. — The Athens State University Foundation and the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention Steering Committee are hosting the 2025 convention this week, running Wednesday, October 1, through Saturday, October 4, with a full entertainment lineup.

The event kicks off with a free Preview Night Gospel Concert featuring Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

The Main Stage at Founders Hall will host Pitney Meyer on Thursday at 7 p.m., Jimmy Fortune on Friday at 6 p.m., and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Admission wristbands cost $20 per adult for single-day tickets Thursday through Saturday or $30 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult, and the preview night concert does not require a ticket.
