Who has been banished and murdered in Celebrity Traitors *Spoilers Ahead*
Clare Balding

Banished in episode four
Status: Faithful
Clare became the third person to be banished from the game, voted out during the roundtable. Her fellow contestants grew suspicious of the sports broadcaster in episode one after she accidentally locked in an incorrect answer, raising suspicions she’d purposefully sabotaged the group.
Opening up about leaving the show, Clare said, ‘I totally wanted to be a Faithful, yes, and I loved that role. I wish I’d had longer at it. I made a big error in suddenly thinking that I had a strategy the morning of my demise.’

Murdered in episode four
Status: Faithful
Netflix star Ruth became the third star to be murdered, with the Traitors deciding she was ‘the only sensible choice’ when it came to choosing their next victim. The star had pointed the finger at Traitor Jonathan, who then took her out in a ‘double triple bluff.’
Reflecting on leaving the show, The Midnight Club’s Ruth later shared how speaking up may have put her on the chopping block. ‘I was ready and determined to always voice my opinions,’ she said. ‘I knew it was probably going to get me murdered, but the guilt after Niko left made me think that I’m not going to go through the rest of this game feeling like this. I played honestly, true to my opinions, and leave with no regrets.’

Banished in episode three
Status: Faithful
EastEnders star Tameka was banished at episode three’s roundtable, after her fellow contestants wrongly accused her of being a Traitor. The decision appeared to come after she was called out by actor Mark Bonnar – with Tameka revealing she got mixed up and accidentally told Mark she was a Traitor.
Opening up since leaving the show, the star said, ‘I think Claudia saw the faithfulness in me. And now I think about it, being a Traitor is a headache. It’s a lot of game playing, and you’re going to be up later than anybody else.’
Tom Daley

Murdered in episode three
Status: Faithful
Tom’s stay in the castle was short but sweet, after he became the Traitors’ second victim. The Olympic diver was murdered in episode three, after the Traitors raised their concerns that ‘perceptive’ Tom ‘didn’t trust anybody’ and was a risk.
Opening up about his murder, Tom later said, ‘Maybe they thought of me as a threat. Maybe I was getting too close to the right answers.’
Niko Omilana

Banished in episode three
Status: Faithful
Content creator Niko became the first Faithful to be banished at the roundtable, with his fellow players voting him out simply because they felt he would be a ‘brilliant Traitor.’ Fans were left unimpressed with Niko’s banishment, with some arguing the star was voted off by his fellow celebs because he was ‘a YouTuber.’
After leaving the show, he revealed, ‘I wasn’t happy to be a Faithful. I really wanted to be a Traitor, badly. I had a good game plan in mind but just didn’t get a chance to see it through.’
Paloma Faith

Murdered in episode two
Status: Faithful
Singer Paloma’s time in the castle was cut short after she became the show’s first victim, with Traitor Alan Carr brushing her face and sentencing her to death.
And after finding out Alan was her murderer, Paloma may be on the lookout for a new best friend. She said on The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, ‘I don’t think it was very nice. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would not have touched Alan’s face. Categorically, he had a choice – maybe it was the easiest option, but it was the choice he made and I don’t think it was very nice.’
Who is still in The Celebrity Traitors?
Our Faithfuls
With several faithfuls now banished and murdered, there’s still a handful who remain in the castle. Those remaining in the game and hoping to hunt down the Traitors are: Stephen Fry, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed, David Olusoga, Mark Bonnar, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont and Joe Wilkinson.
Of course, our Traitors can always recruit – so there’s no saying which of these names might find themselves on the other side…
Our Traitors
This year’s Traitors are broadcaster Jonathan Ross, singer Cat Burns, and comedian Alan Carr (who has already been dubbed the best worst Traitor ever). The three have remained undetected so far – but it’s been hinted than an alliance might be forming in the next few episodes.
Alan has described himself as being ‘thick as thieves’ with Cat, with the duo seen discussing whether they’d be willing to throw Jonathan under the bus for their own success. Something tells us our list of Traitors might be changing soon…
