Chad has ended its 15-year partnership over the management of key wildlife reserves with conservation nonprofit African Parks, which drew funding for the project from the Rob Walton Foundation and agencies of the US government..

African Parks showed “a recurring, indelicate and disrespectful attitude toward the government,” Environment Minister Hassan Bakhit Djamous said on his ministry’s Facebook page adding that there had been breaches of the agreement.
