Join Faith Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch for family fun and festive activities from Oct. 16 to Nov. 1 in Orange.

ORANGE, Texas — Faith Methodist Church is once again welcoming the fall season with its annual Pumpkin Patch, open from Oct. 16 through Nov. 1 at 8608 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Orange.

The church’s seasonal celebration has become a local tradition, offering family-friendly activities for the community and area schools. Organizers expect around 600 students to visit this year, including 60 students with special needs.

Throughout the week, students can enjoy hayrides, storytelling, pictures, games, face art and snacks.

Reverend Amy Walker told 12News it was a community-wide effort to get everything set up.

“All of our church members kind of gathered together, because it does take a huge crowd to do this,” Walker said. “But we get volunteers from the schools too that need their service hours, and so this year we had people from West Orange come, students from there, we had students from Orangefield.”

Faith Methodist Church will also host Party in the Patch (Trunk or Treat) on Oct. 29, featuring decorated vehicles and candy for children. The festivities wrap up Nov. 1 with The Great Pumpkin Market, which will include vendors, kid entrepreneurs, food trucks, a silent auction and a pickleball tournament.

The church invites the public to join in the fall celebration and support local families, students and small businesses throughout the event.
