Look, up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it’s a discount on one of the best Man of Steel adaptations, Superman: The Animated Series. The classic show has long been considered one of the best adaptations of the Superman comic books, and you can pick up the entire run for just $15 (was $40). These limited-time sales are part of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event, which runs from October 7 to 8.

Superman has gone on to appear in several more shows over the years, several of which are on sale during the Prime Big Deal Days event, such as Superman & Lois, Supergirl, and the Superman Five-Film Collection. Superman & Lois imagines what life is like for the Man of Steel after he becomes a husband and a father, and you can grab the complete series in a DVD box set for $45 (was $70). The Blu-ray edition of Supergirl: The Complete Series is marked down to $60 (was $135), and this pairs well with Superman & Lois as Tyler Hoechlin’s Metropolis marvel was first introduced in Melissa Benoist’s Girl of Steel series.

For fans of classic Superman, the four films starring Christopher Reeve as Superman will always be a highlight. The 4K Blu-ray box set is just $55 (was $135), and it includes Superman 1-4 as well as the Donner Cut of Superman 2. Each movie has been remastered in 4K with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, and special features include documentaries, classic Superman cartoons, retrospectives, TV Specials, and insightful audio commentaries.

While it hasn’t received a major discount yet, you can save $5 on the 4K Blu-ray of this year’s Superman movie by director James Gunn. Starring David Corenswet as the legendary hero, there are over 90 minutes of bonus features, including animated shorts, making-of featurettes, and more. You can also get the movie on standard Blu-ray and DVD.

Circling back to animation, we’d also recommend My Adventures With Superman. A third season of it is in development, and the series follows Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen on their daily escapades as reporters for the Daily Planet. The series has an anime-inspired art direction developed by Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra and Voltron), and the first season is available on DVD for $13.
