Rapper and influencer LaTruth, born Robert Hampton, entered into a contentious divorce from his wife Briana Hampton, often known as Mrs. LaTruth, and everybody on social media had a front row seat.
The first couple began dating in 2016 and got married five months later. However, in 2022, their marriage broke up virtually, in full view of everyone on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter.
After nearly six years of marriage, they gave various reasons for his or her split, but one issue that gained public attention was LaTruth’s reluctance to adopt Briana’s three children – Lauryn, Isaiah and Joshua – from a previous relationship.
The couple, who’ve one daughter, Amoura, met after exchanging messages on Facebook following the death of Hampton’s mother from cancer in 2015. Model achieved he contacted LaTruth a couple of job opportunity, and the remainder was history.

During the separation, the North Carolinian posted video about how his ex threw what appeared to be his clothes and shoes out of the closet and stated, “All this because I won’t adopt.”
When asked if this was true, LaTruth replied: “Yes, it is certainly true. You see, we talked about this. I used to be talking about divorce, so she asked me if I might ever consider adopting her children, and she or he mentioned situations where other men had adopted children or whatever,” he explained.
The artist continued: “The first time I thought, ‘Okay, okay. It sounds nice, it sounds like something worth praising. And then she summoned the second, third. I wonder, “Why do you keep bringing up all these different people and how they adopted children?”

After discussing other cases during which men legally adopted their spouse’s children, LaTruth claims that Briana then broached the subject of adoption with him. She allegedly asked him to consider adopting her children from a previous relationship, whom she shares with a person named Deshawn, who confirmed that he is the daddy of the kids in one other movie.
‘I said no!’ I mean, we got married. There’s no point in adopting children, we’re married. I’m already a father to them,” LaTruth explained. “At that time, I just knew, because I used to be already talking about divorce, she wanted me to do it for stability.
