AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Kids Inc. is inviting the public to attend its groundbreaking for Rockrose Sports Park on Oct. 7.

The sports park will feature sports and regional tournaments for baseball, softball, soccer, flag football, and more.

The groundbreaking will take place Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m. at 9100 Canyon Dr.

Officials say parking will be in the southwest corner of the Cinemark Hollywood 16 parking lot.

Kids Inc. says it is still taking financial gifts toward the park.

Naming rights are available around the complex and officials say they want to recognize all donors on opening day.
