Kristen Bell kept it lighthearted during her recent late-night appearance.

On Thursday, October 23, The Good Place alum, 45, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed her Halloween plans with husband Dax Shepard and their kids, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.

“This year, we decided we were going to go out on a limb and we would do pun mash-ups,” Bell explained.

“I am going to go as — follow it — Carrie Bradshawshank. Redemption,” she shared. “So pink tutu, spiral the hair, kind of a jailbird vibe, and some boots.”

As for Shepard, the Golden Globe-nominated actress revealed that he will be dressing up as “Ferrariana Grande,” donning a wig with a “high ponytail” and a “Ferrari visor.”

“I’m going to see if he’ll let me do a winged liner on him,” Bell remarked. “I think he will let me.”

“He will not let you do that,” the late-night host, 51, chimed in.

“Yes, he will,” the Nobody Wants This star quipped. “He sits there about 15 minutes of my shenanigans before he’s like, ‘Okay, okay, we’re good.’”

During the talk show interview, Bell did not mention her recent Instagram post, which sparked significant controversy.

As Star previously reported, the Veronica Mars alum took to Instagram on Saturday, October 18, to celebrate her wedding anniversary, sharing a photo of her and Shepard embracing with a graphic caption.

“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you,’” Bell penned. ‘A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’❤️.”

Many believed the post was “tone-deaf” and “disturbing.”
