Reese Witherspoon is in shock about how quickly her youngest child, Tennessee James Toth, has grown up. Sharing a new carousel of photos to Instagram, she celebrated her son’s birthday with a sweet tribute.

“How is it possible that my youngest boy is 13?! He never ceases to amaze me with his joyfulmess, his brilliant sense of humor and his endless curiosity. I love you so much , Tenn ! 💙,” she captioned her most recent post.

Tenn, who is Witherspoon’s only son with her ex-husband Jim Toth. She was married to the former talent agent from 2011 to 2023. The Legally Blonde star also shares a daughter and a son with her ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe.

Tennessee’s ashy blonde tresses are nearly identical to his mom’s, though it does look as if the teenager has had his hair bleached.

Witherspoon’s daughter Ava also recently celebrated a birthday. Earlier this month, the actress shared a new photo with her eldest child in honor of her 26th.

“Happy 26th my sweet girl @avaphillippe! You have changed my life in all the best ways. I love you 💖 ✨🎂,” Witherspoon wrote on Instagram.

The film snapshot sees Phillippe posing in a strapless floral dress. She stands beside her mother, whose own floral frock featured puff sleeves and a plunging neckline. Both mom and daughter opted for belts.

Some of Witherspoon’s famous friends took to the comments, including Kate Hudson.

“Oh 26,” wrote the Almost Famous star. “Happy Birthday! 🎊”

“Happy birthday Ava,” added Julianne Moore.
