Riley Keough has got me all shook up with her entrance at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards. The actress arrived at the second annual awards ceremony—which honors the stylists, hair pros, and makeup artists behind the biggest stars’ fashion and beauty—in a chic, little black dress paired with a bolero jacket.
The mother-of-two joined stars including Jenna Ortega, Jessica Biel, Kerry Washington, and Laura Dern on the red carpet.
Keough’s attendance at the event comes after she and husband Ben Smith-Petersen quietly welcomed their second baby earlier this year. Keough’s grandmother, Priscilla Presley, shared the exciting news with People last month.
“That’s what makes me happy: knowing everyone is doing well,” Presley told the publication.
Keough and Smith-Petersen already share daughter Tupelo, who was born in August 2022 via surrogate. She previously opened up about their decision to use a surrogate, saying it “felt like the best choice.”
“I can carry children, but it felt like the best choice for what I had going on physically with the autoimmune stuff,” she said about her battle with Lyme disease in a 2023 Vanity Fair interview. “I think it’s a very cool, selfless, and incredible act that these women do to help other people.”
Last month, Keough made an appearance at the New York Film Festival to promote her upcoming film Jay Kelly. She wore a black ruffled dress with a semi-sheer midsection and a leg slit while posing alongside her co-stars George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup and more. The film will be available to stream Netflix on December 5.
