The Ryder Cup is finally here.

The U.S. team and the European team will square off on Friday morning at Bethpage Black in New York with the iconic gold trophy on the line. The Americans, led this time by captain Keegan Bradley, are looking to avenge a brutal loss from two years ago in Rome. The European team that rolled to the win in Italy is back and nearly identical, too. While they’ve lost the last two outings on American soil, the Europeans have won eight of the last 11 Ryder Cups in dominant fashion.

Play begins Friday morning with a series of four foursomes matches, otherwise known as alternate shot matches. The two teams will then head back out in the afternoon for four four-ball, or best ball, matches to close out the day. That format will repeat on Saturday before all 12 golfers from each team will head out for their singles matches on Sunday. Each match has a single point up for grabs, though each team will receive a half point if they tie. The first team to secure at least 14.5 points wins.

Bethpage Black is hosting the Ryder Cup for the first time, and ticket prices have been sky-high. President Donald Trump is expected to attend the matches on Friday afternoon, too, which has led to an increase in security at the classic Long Island course.

Here’s everything you need to know to keep up with the action on Friday at Bethpage Black.
