One of the best shows to ever air on HBO, The Sopranos, is getting a steep discount during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event, which takes place October 7 and 8. The Sopranos: The Complete Series on Blu-ray is 50% off–bringing it down to just $50 (was $100), its lowest price ever. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the 86 episodes for the first time or rewatch them for the tenth time, this collection is currently the best option in 2025, as we’re still waiting on a 4K release.

Featuring 28 discs, this gigantic collection gets you every episode of all six seasons of The Sopranos. It supports DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, though there’s no Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision (features often found on 4K Blu-ray). Still, this is currently the most popular way to add the hit show to your home theater–and now that it’s available for its lowest price ever, it’s an easier recommendation than usual.
The Sopranos: The Complete Series Bonus Features
Beyond the episodes, this collection is packed with over five hours of bonus features. Here’s a look at what you’ll find inside:
- Defining A Television Landmark: Featurette covering the creation of The Sopranos, interviews with the cast and crew, and archival footage
- Two roundtable dinners with cast and crew
- Two-part interview with creator David Chase
- Lost scenes
- 25 audio commentaries
If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it follows Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a mob boss dealing with the weight of his role alongside the daily struggles of his family life. It’s much different from your typical mob movie, as it focuses more on the “boring” aspects of running a crime family as opposed to the hyper-violence and glamor seen in other productions. It went on to win 21 Primetime Emmy Awards (plus 111 nominations), and it’s often hailed as one of the best TV shows ever made.
Another one of the best TV shows ever made, The Wire, is also discounted for Big Deal Days. The Wire: The Complete Series on DVD is down to just $30 (was $65), which is just a few bucks shy of its lowest price ever at $25. It offers a nuanced look at the crime and corruption in Baltimore, told from the perspectives of both the police and the criminals. It also aired on HBO and is held in high regard, with many saying it’s a toss-up as to whether The Sopranos or The Wire is the best to have ever aired on the network.
