Carolina One Real Estate recognized 15 Tri-County nonprofit organizations on Friday, Oct. 10, awarding a total of $30,000 at the company’s second charitable distribution ceremony of the year.

The CORE Charitable Contributions Committee, chaired by sales associates Tom Tillery and Paige Pollock, presented grants to Dorchester Paws, Blissful Dreams, Jean’s Angels, Summerville Miracle League, Respite Care, Help of Summerville, Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, Amor Kitchen, James Island Outreach, Beyond Basic Life Skills, Bless Our Heart, One80 Place and Habitat for Humanity.

Established 18 years ago, the committee distributes monetary grants to nonprofit organizations serving Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. One Carolina One Real Estate agent from each of the company’s 14 Lowcountry offices serves on the panel, which meets twice a year to review qualified applications. The goal, company officials stated, is to enhance the quality of life across the region by supporting organizations that assist those in need.

Since its inception, the program has donated nearly $450,000 to qualified nonprofits, according to the company.

Nonprofits seeking future funding must serve residents of Berkeley, Charleston or Dorchester counties; be recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt; and not be political or lobbying organizations or discriminate based on age, sex, race, color, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin or disability.

Applicants must submit a completed application and an IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter or IRS eligibility letter. Completed applications should be emailed to [email protected] with the subject line “Charitable Contributions Application” no later than Monday, March 31, 2026.
