The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce is calling on employers across North Texas, from small and mid-size firms to major corporate partners, to submit open positions.
Chamber leaders say they’re working to build a resource for people who’ve been recently laid off or aren’t sure where to turn next, and to help connect companies with qualified candidates who want to stay and work in the region.
The Dallas Black Chamber, founded in 1926 and regarded as the nation’s first Black chamber of commerce, focuses on economic development, education, tourism and special projects that support the creation and growth of Black-owned businesses and organizations in North Texas.
The Chamber says this moment could open new doors for smaller and mid-size companies, allowing them to attract talent that might otherwise flow to larger corporations, while offering job-seekers a centralized place to find verified opportunities.
