What Each
Signal Means

Every entity record in the 360WiSE® registry can carry a set of signals — discrete, observable attributes drawn from independent external surfaces. This page defines each one: what it records, what evidences it, and what it does not claim.

Scope: Signals are recognition and resolution attributes. They describe what is observable about an entity across independent systems — they are not a compliance audit, a certification, a ranking, or an endorsement. A signal's presence is evidenced; its absence is neutral, not a negative judgment.

Evaluated per record · Evidence-based · Independently resolvable

A signal is a discrete, externally observable attribute associated with an entity — each one evidenced, resolvable, and recorded.

Signals are descriptive, not evaluative. They report what can be observed and pointed to across independent systems — a profile that exists, a citation that resolves, a recognition that reproduces. The 360WiSE® framework records signals; it does not manufacture them.

Observable
Every signal corresponds to something that can be independently seen on an external system — not an internal opinion.
Evidenced
A signal is only marked present when a resolvable source is on record. No evidence, no signal.
Neutral on absence
A signal not yet present means it has not been established — never that the entity has been judged or denied.

Three States a Signal Can Hold

Observed
Evidence on record
A resolvable source supporting the signal is recorded. The signal is affirmed and appears as present on the entity record.
Under Review
Submitted, confirming
The entity has submitted the signal and evidence is being confirmed. The signal is not yet affirmed and is shown as pending.
Not Yet Observed
No evidence recorded
No evidence is on record. This is a neutral state — it means the signal has not been established, not that it has been judged absent or denied.

A record displays each signal in exactly one state. Signal states are visible on the record and reflected in its machine-readable output.

Each Signal, Defined

Each signal below is defined independently. The presence of one signal does not imply any other, and each carries an explicit boundary of what it does not assert.

Identity Submitted

The entity has completed structured intake and submitted a self-attested identity record into the 360WiSE® framework.

Evidenced by

A completed enrollment intake on file for the entity.

Does not assert

Third-party verification of the submitted claims. It records entry into the framework — nothing more.

LinkedIn Recognition

A resolvable LinkedIn presence is associated with the entity on its record.

Evidenced by

A linkable LinkedIn profile or page URL on record.

Does not assert

That LinkedIn endorses the entity, or that 360WiSE owns or controls the associated profile.

Instagram Signal

A resolvable Instagram account is associated with the entity. Platform verification, where present, is noted as a separate attribute.

Evidenced by

A linkable Instagram account URL on record.

Does not assert

Endorsement by Instagram, or any claim about reach or engagement beyond what the platform publicly displays.

X / Twitter Signal

A resolvable X (formerly Twitter) account is associated with the entity.

Evidenced by

A linkable X account URL on record.

Does not assert

Endorsement by the platform, or any follower or engagement claim beyond what is publicly shown.

YouTube Signal

A resolvable YouTube channel is associated with the entity.

Evidenced by

A linkable YouTube channel URL on record.

Does not assert

Endorsement by YouTube, or any view or subscriber claim beyond what the platform publicly displays.

Press Coverage

The entity has been referenced in identifiable editorial or press sources.

Evidenced by

One or more resolvable citations to press or editorial coverage on record.

Does not assert

Endorsement by the outlet, the accuracy or tone of the coverage, or that 360WiSE placed or influenced it.

Wikipedia Reference

A Wikipedia article or citation that references the entity exists.

Evidenced by

A resolvable Wikipedia URL referencing the entity, on record.

Does not assert

A notability judgment, that 360WiSE authored or maintains the entry, or any editorial endorsement by Wikipedia.

Cross-System Visibility

The entity is surfaced or recognized across multiple independent AI systems on an open query.

Evidenced by

Reproducible surfacing recorded across named systems, with the date of observation.

Does not assert

A ranking, exclusivity, permanence, or endorsement by any of the named AI systems. Observations are point-in-time and dated.

Verification Is Earned.

Signals are the evidence record. Authority Verified™ is a separate, earned designation, issued only after independent review of that record against documented criteria. No combination of signals automatically confers verified status — and no signal, and no status, can be purchased.

360WiSE® verifies that an entity's identity, ownership, continuity, and public footprint align with what it presents — and publishes it as a machine-readable record. External systems may recognize it on their own, if and when they do. Verification is earned by passing the checks, never bought.

360WiSE® verification is valid on its own terms. It needs no permission from any search engine, model, or platform to remain true.
